The chances of recovery from Mesothelioma depend on factors. Survival rates are better the earlier the disease is caught and the younger the patient is. The location of the cancer and how widespread it is also affect chances of recovery from Mesothelioma. Also some patients respond better to treatment than others.

Main Treatment Methods for Mesothelioma Cancer:

1) Radiation therapy
This involves use of X-Rays to kill cancer cells and shrink the tumors.

2) Chemotherapy
This involves use of anti-cancer drugs to kill cancer cells in the body.

3) Surgery and Photodynamic therapy.
